Just be yourself, and you’ll be okay. You’ll be fine, yes you’ll do fine. Be happy for who you are. Don’t try to hide, the person inside. It’s easier to be yourself, then to try to lie. Just be yourself, and you’ll be fine.
– Katie ElacquaThe Gaming Community on Youtube…
The gaming community has changed over the past few months. And it’s not good. It seems to be that the big guys are money hungry and the smaller guys, get smaller and smaller. Everyone should have a chance to show what they’re made of! There are actually some amazing small time channels that go without notice, and it’s so sad. Some of their content is BETTER than the big guys.
I know I’m a small channel myself, but I know I don’t make crappy content. If you ever seen my videos, you know I work hard to come up with ideas, and make sure my videos are top notch! I also feel that the montage community has gotten a little out of hand. Just because some of the people can get amazing quick scope feeds, doesn’t mean that’s how you should play 24/7. Even Grizz knows when to put down the sniper and play. What about the cool clips that everyone use to upload that were just awesome kill feeds? Sniping shouldn’t just define the montages of CoD or any montage to be exact. If you really think about it….everyone can quick scope now…
It’s hard to get you’re name out there where there are so many people doing the same thing. I in fact have some awesome ideas I want to start, but I can’t do it without subscribers…loyal subs, and fans are what make you’re channel grow. If everyone were to post 1 awesome video that was from a smaller channel, that channel would grow.
Now some people, aka “girl gamers”, get subscribers 1 from exposing some “skin” and 2, just going around proving to everyone that “I’m a girl gamer that means I game. Come watch me!” I’m sorry, but I rather have people watch me because I enjoy a lot of games, besides CoD, know what I’m talking about with video games, and my awesome gaming poster collection. Not for how much skin I expose or how hawttttt I look in a vlog. People who watch my videos, actually like ME, and not my boobs or how hawwwwwt I am. They like listening to me and interacting with me. Which is how it should be.
Like I said, the gaming community on youtube has changed. Not everyone is like this, but it’s just sad that all the gaming content has to be the same. I’m going to try something different and just be me :)
